Tim Higgins is a seasoned security executive and public safety leader with more than three decades of experience spanning law enforcement, school security, and organizational risk management. As Senior Director of Security for a large Jesuit High School in Cleveland, Ohio, he leads a comprehensive, multi-layered safety program protecting students, faculty, visitors, and a 23-acre campus encompassing 21 buildings.
He oversees all aspects of campus security operations, including a professional team of security personnel, advanced surveillance systems with more than 350 cameras, integrated security technologies, and environmental design strategies that enhance safety through proactive planning.
Tim retired from the Cleveland Division of Police after 28 distinguished years of service. His career was marked by leadership in crisis and emergency management, organizational command, and large-scale event logistics. He played a significant role in planning and executing security operations for nationally recognized events, including the 2016 Republican National Convention, the 2019 MLB All-Star Game, and the 2021 NFL Draft.
His expertise in grant management and compliance was developed through his work with the Bureau of Community Policing and later expanded through oversight of multiple Department of Justice-funded programs. Recognized for his strategic leadership, operational expertise, and commitment to proactive safety solutions, Tim brings a mission-driven approach to protecting communities and advancing best practices in school security.
